Vacuum selection
The operating vacuum level should be chosen based on the specific material being processed and the desired heating temperature. Initially, it is crucial to ensure that the operating vacuum meets the requirements for non-oxidative heating. Additionally, a holistic approach should be taken into account, incorporating factors such as surface gloss, degassing efficiency, and the evaporation of alloy constituents. For commonly utilized materials, the suggested operating vacuum levels are outlined below:

Selection of heating and thermal insulation material.
The equipment has the capability to select various heating elements and insulation layers tailored to different operational temperatures. Typically, the heating element materials in common use include heat-resistant steel (Cr20Ni80), high-purity graphite, molybdenum, and their alloys, among others. The applicable temperature ranges for these materials are as specified. Besides selecting from the aforementioned materials, it is imperative to take into account the energy consumption and long-term stability comprehensively.

High quality furnace shell material
The double-walled, water-cooled compression vessel's furnace casing must possess adequate mechanical robustness and stability to withstand forces and heat, thereby preventing deformation and damage. Depending on the shell's composition, it can be categorized into two types: one with an all-carbon steel construction and another with an inner wall made of stainless steel while the outer wall remains carbon steel.
